Today on arrival in Jaisalmer, check into your hotel and later forge deeper into the Thar Desert on a desert safari or a camel ride during the mesmerising sunset. Drive through the dunes to a stunning campsite with spectacular views. Enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner and cultural dance as the sun sets and spend the evening around a campfire under a sea of stars enjoying it at your own pace or dancing through the tunes of folk dancers and musicians before you return back to your hotel in Jaisalmer. After breakfast leave for Pushkar, which is a holy town located about 10 kilometers away from Ajmer. There are about 400 temples and 25 ghats in this small town. Pushkar Lake is the prominent tourist attraction. The other popular tourist attractions include the Brahma Temple, Varaha Temple, Aptaeshwar Temple and the Savitri Temple. Here take a walk in the markets of Pushkar intermingling with the locals in the colourful markets, at the end of market can visit the only Brahma temple of the world. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial that has the tomb of his beautiful wife Mumtaj Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. After breakfast, see the Agra Fort built by Akbar where Shahjahans own son Aurangzeb imprisoned Shahjahan. After breakfast proceed to Bikaner, established in 1488 by Rao Bika, Here visit the Junagarh Fort, a royal museum that encompasses history of Bikaner from its days of construction that dates back to the 16th century. The fort was built by Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner who reigned from 1571 to 1612. After lunch drive 30 Kms to Deshnoke to visit Karni Mata Rat Temple which is famous for rats which can be seen everywhere in the temple. Evening free to walk around or take a tuk-tuk ride to the old city of Bikaner to visit the famous Bhandasar Jain temples and The Rampuria Haveli is the pride of Bikaner according to Aldous Huxley who is a prominent writer and philosopher. Emerge from the desert this morning and travel along a desert road to the yellow sandstone citadel of Jaisalmer. Watch as this ‘living fort’ rears its head in the arid, flat desert. Your tour leader will lead you through the snaking alleyways of Jaisalmer, which are filled with markets and intricately carved houses. Today proceed to Narlai. Narlai is a small authentic village where you can sense the real Indian Life, its surroundings are quite & picturesque. The small and enchanting village of Narlai is located at the southern end of Rajasthan. After breakfast, visit Jagdish Temple which is a large Hindu temple just outside the royal palace of Udaipur. It has been in continuous worship since 1651. Later proceed to visit the City Palace of Udaipur which is the richest palace museum in the entire Rajasthan, Also see the Peacock Square and the miniature painting school inside the palace premises. After that take a boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola and visit the island palace of Jagmandir where according to legends the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan lived and got inspired to build the Taj Mahal later. After Lunch visit Saheliyon ki Bari where Maharana Sangram Singh build this garden complex with fountains and lakes for his beautiful daughter. Afternoon you can visit the fortress of Sajangarh (Monsoon Palace) to watch the sunset from the top of the mountain or You can walk around in the markets of Udaipur and later take a dinner in the numerous nice restaurants in the area. Travel by private vehicle into Rajasthan and on to its capital, Jaipur - The Pink City A friendly, busy city crammed with palaces and bazaars full of jewellery, textiles and folk arts, Jaipur is a favourite for many travellers. Today move to Agra, On the way visit Abhaneri which is one of the oldest Step well in Rajasthan built by King Chanda (Chandra) who rule Abhaneri or ancient Abhanagari during 8th-9th Century A.D. Also, known as Chand Baori, the Stepwell is one of the largest stepwells in the entirety of Rajasthan. When it was built, the well not only helped the villagers and the tradesmen to draw water in the time of thirst but also conserved groundwater. After lunch continue towards Fatehpur Sikri the Phantom city or abandoned city built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the second half of the 16th century. Fatehpur Sikri was the first planned city of the Mughals to be marked by magnificent administrative, residential, and religious buildings comprised of palaces, public buildings, mosques, and living areas for the court, the army, the servants of the king and an entire city.
