Day 1 Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India with Local Adventures India. Our representative will pick you up from the International or Domestic airport. Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting After your arrival at the accommodation. After check in at the hotel proceed for a guided tour of the World Heritage-listed, Qutub Minar which is the tallest Minar in India, originally an ancient Islamic Monument, inscribed with Arabic inscriptions, though the iron pillar has some Brahmi inscriptions, Later visit Humayun's Tomb, the first Mughal construction in India from 1565 AD. Following the visit of Lotus Temple. Overnight at hotel in Delhi

Day 3 Jaipur

Travel by private vehicle into Rajasthan and on to its capital, Jaipur - The Pink City (approximately 5). A friendly, busy city crammed with palaces and bazaars full of jewellery, textiles and folk arts, Jaipur is a favourite for many travellers. Arrive and check into your accommodation. Later visit the Birla Temple which is a great piece of work in marble. In the evening you can enjoy a movie at Raj Mandir Cinema which is Asia´s Second Best Cinema 2013 a highly recommended place. Day 5 Jaipur - Abhaneri Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Today move to Agra, On the way visit Abhaneri which is one of the oldest Step well in Rajasthan built by King Chanda (Chandra) who rule Abhaneri or ancient Abhanagari during 8th-9th Century A.D. Also, known as Chand Baori, the Stepwell is one of the largest stepwells in the entirety of Rajasthan. When it was built, the well not only helped the villagers and the tradesmen to draw water in the time of thirst but also conserved groundwater. After lunch continue towards Fatehpur Sikri the Phantom city or abandoned city built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the second half of the 16th century. Fatehpur Sikri was the first planned city of the Mughals to be marked by magnificent administrative, residential, and religious buildings comprised of palaces, public buildings, mosques, and living areas for the court, the army, the servants of the king and an entire city. Day 7 Lucknow

Today after breakfast you will drive to Lucknow. Sprinkled with Islamic and British Raj–era architecture, stuffed with fascinating bazaars and famed throughout India for its food, Seize the day with a guided tour of Lucknow, where your leader will show you some of the city’s best spots. This might include a stop at the intricate Bara Imambara – a hall built in 1784 for Shia Muslims. Its labyrinthine layout of narrow passages and staircases is best navigated with the help of a knowledgeable local. Get delighted by mouth watering cuisine of Lucknow. For dinner, maybe try to find somewhere serving Tunday Kebabi (a Lucknow delicacy that allegedly contains 100’s of spices).

Day 9 Varanasi

Start your day with guided tour of Sarnath – one of the four main Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. The site is where Buddha preached his message of the path to enlightenment and features several stupas and museums to explore. Later take a walking tour of the ghats and history of Varanasi and after that be part of Ganga Aarti ( Prayer of Ganga River ) which itself is mesmerising experience.

Day 2 Delhi

Join your tour leader on an excursion through Old Delhi. Hop in a rickshaw to the once water-filled square of Chandni Chowk. Discover the Jama Masjid, Delhi’s oldest mosque, before learning about the history of the Sikh religion at the Sheeshganj or Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. Later visit India Gate (War Memorial Arch) built in the earlier half of the 20th century, also drive pass through Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House), Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Palace shopping centre Evening free for leisure or visiting the India gate and presidents estate. Overnight at hotel in Delhi

Day 4 Jaipur

Start your day with a full day city tour of Jaipur starting with a short stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography, Later proceed to visit The Amber Fort, set on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake, the fort is an authentic example of a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture and the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) is one of its more spectacular buildings. Also visit Jagat Shiromani Temple on the foothills of the Amber Fort. Later stop by Jal Mahal (Water Palace) which was a resting place for the kings in summer time. After lunch visit the City Palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur which has a fabulous collection of robes, saris in cotton and silk with gold latticed work, paintings, a huge collection of arms in the ammunition gallery, also visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory built in 1727. In the evening enjoy a walk in the Charming pink city of Jaipur which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur

Day 6 Agra

One of the 7 Wonders of the world , TAJ MAHAL is awaiting your arrival today morning. A must see with the rising sun as the Taj Mahal is bathed in the golden rays of the morning sun. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial that has the tomb of his beautiful wife Mumtaj Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. After breakfast, see the Agra Fort built by Akbar where Shahjahans own son Aurangzeb imprisoned Shahjahan. After lunch visit Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb often referred as Baby Taj or jewel Box, commissioned by a Mughal empress for her Father. Later visit Mehtab Bagh that lies opposite to Taj Mahal, on the other bank of the river Yamuna. It's a photographers paradise to capture one of the best views of Taj Mahal. Day 8 Varanasi

Today travel to Varanasi. Varanasi is the India of your imagination. This is one of the world's oldest continually inhabited cities, and one of the holiest in Hinduism. Pilgrims come to the Ganges here to wash away sins in the sacred waters, to cremate their loved ones, or simply to die here, hoping for liberation from the cycle of rebirth. When you’ve checked into your hotel, join the group for a walking tour of the city widely regarded as India’s spiritual capital. In the evening, set sail on a sunset cruise on the Ganges. You’ll be joined by local musicians on board, who will play as you watch the flower and candle ceremony – an experience that will surely be etched in your memory long after your time in India is over.

Day 10 Delhi

After breakfast, board flight to Delhi, here visit Akshardham Temple: Akshardham Temple is primarily engineered on the holy rivers of Yamuna. Portrayal nice Indian culture, this large monument is one among the foremost spectacular structures. It's merely majestic in attractiveness. With lovely gardens, water fountains and graven pavilions, the magnificence of this structure is nice. You will be shocked to notice that the temple includes nearly twenty thousand statues, floral arrangements, and its tempting stone pillars area unit noteworthy in each sense of the term. One among the terribly 1st marvellous options of the temple is its assembly of 10 grand gates. The foremost highlight of this feature is its marvellous structure standing at 141 foot high Akshardham monument.
